Carpool lane on 57 southbound closed after motorcycle crashes, flies across freeway

ANAHEIM A motorcyclist was in the hospital Thursday morning, Feb. 8, after crashing into another vehicle on the southbound 57 freeway at Lincoln Avenue, CHP said.
At 8:05 a.m., the motorcycle and either a white Nissan or a black Honda Civic – there were conflicting reports – collided, causing the motorcycle to “fly across the road,” coming to a stop in the carpool lane under a walkover bridge, said Officer Monica Posada of the California Highway Patrol.
