Capistrano Valley’s Daugherty, Zamora receive top All-CIF honors

Capistrano Valley pitcher/outfielder Ryan Daugherty is the 2018 CIF-Southern Section Division 1 baseball player of the year.
Capistrano Valley’s Bob Zamora is Division 1 coach of the year. Capistrano Valley won the Division 1 championship.
The All-CIF teams and award winners were announced Monday, June 26.
An announcement is expected that Zamora will step aside as Capo Valley head coach. That announcement will be made when the Capistrano Unified School District approves the replacemen
