Capistrano Valley’s boys basketball keeps momentum going

MISSION VIEJO – One of the hotter teams in Orange County boys basketball remained hot Monday.
Capistrano Valley defeated Mission Viejo 61-50 in a South Coast League game at Capistrano Valley.
The Cougars improved to 6-1 in league. They are tied for first place with Trabuco Hills. The league championship will be decided Wednesday when Capistrano Valley plays at Trabuco Hills in the final regular-season game for both.
