Canyon bats too much for Cypress

When the offense gets to be contagious up and down the order, good things are bound to happen.
All nine Canyon starters recorded a hit Thursday afternoon, and with sophomore right-hander Miranda Stoddard tossing six strong innings in the circle, the eighth-ranked Comanches eased past Cypress, 8-1, in a nonleague game at Cypress High.
Senior right fielder Rylie Seip finished with a game-high three base hits and added a pair of RBI. Stoddard went 2 for 3 at the plate in addition to earning the win
