California surpasses 100,000 total coronavirus cases
California surpassed 100,000 coronavirus cases Wednesday morning after hitting another one-day record for new cases the previous day.
As counties began to report new numbers, the total number of cases statewide surged past 100,000 by about 11 a.m. — less than a month after hitting 50,000 cases on April 30th.
