Cal State Fullerton’s Rick Vanderhook plays down CSUN’s home run prowess

Cal State Fullerton has a chance to clinch its 22nd Big West Conference title during a three-game series with visiting CSUN this week, but to do it the Titans must limit a Matadors offense that leads the conference in home runs by a wide margin.
Following a doubleheader with UCLA on Tuesday that included the completion of a suspended game, the Matadors have 63 home runs, nearly twice as many as any other team in the Big West.
