Cal State Fullerton softball eliminated in NCAA regional

Down four runs with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth in an NCAA regional elimination game against Weber State on Saturday, Cal State Fullerton senior Ari Williams stepped into the batters box. The Big West Player of the Year was the tying run in an improbable comeback attempt.
Williams cut at an offering from Weber State’s Kate Donaldson, bouncing a hard-hit ball toward shortstop Sydney White.
