Cal State Fullerton can’t escape first-half hole against San Diego

FULLERTON — Cal State Fullerton dug itself a hole it couldn’t crawl out of on Wednesday night.
San Diego outscored Fullerton 17-4 over the final 8:29 of the first half to build a 14-point halftime lead, and kept the Titans at arm’s length the rest of the night, handing the hosts a 66-54 loss.
