Cable news viewing advice over Christmas

Doug McIntyre, my colleague at the Daily News and Talk Radio 790 KABC, is fond of saying that in Southern California Vin Scully’s voice is the soundtrack of summer.
Even as an Angel fan, I can vouch that McIntyre is 100 percent correct.
But, summer is long gone and the Christmas season is here.
In my house, that means being serenaded by Perry Como singing the classics and Macaulay Culkin getting abandoned by his family in some random location.
