Brushfire burns along 57 freeway near Brea Canyon offramp

DIAMOND BAR — County firefighters quickly knocked down a small brush fire Tuesday that charred about a quarter-acre of vegetation near the Orange (57) Freeway in Diamond Bar, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire which was reported at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, was burning near the Brea Canyon Road off-ramp on the 57 Freeway, county fire Inspector Gustavo Medina and the California Highway Patrol said.
