Brush fire burning near Skyline Trail in Corona

Firefighters on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 13, were trying to extinguish a brush fire near a popular hiking area in Corona.
The fire was burning near Foothill Parkway and Skyline Drive in the area of Skyline Trail on the edge of the Cleveland National Forest.
Police were closing Foothill as well as Trudy Way.
The fire was reported at about 4:40 p.m. As of about 5:30 p.m., the fire had burned 10-15 acres and was moving at a moderate rate of spread in light grasses and heavy brush, according to Cal
