Brewster: Cole Custer on the rise in Xfinity Series

Cole Custer of Ladera Ranch, who raced quarter-midgets at age 4 at Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, is firmly in the battle for the points lead in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Custer won the race, his fourth of the season, last Saturday at Chicagoland Speedway to trim Tyler Reddick’s lead to 71 points. Custer climbed over Christopher Bell for the spot.The series will race Friday (4:30 p.m. PST) in the Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway.
