Brent Vieselmeyer, a former assistant coach at Orange Lutheran, named head coach of Santa Margarita football

Santa Margarita High on Tuesday announced that Brent Vieselmeyer is the new head coach of its varsity football team.
Vieselmeyer has coached at the high school, college and professional levels.
He was an assistant coach at Orange Lutheran, where he was Jim Kunau’s defensive coordinator as the Lancers won CIF section and state championships in the 2000s. He also was head coach at Valor Christian High School in Colorado, which he led to four consecutive state championships.
