Breeders’ Cup: Uni passes Got Stormy for Mile victory

ARCADIA — Joel Rosario and Chad Brown teamed up for a come-from behind victory with Uni in the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Mile at Santa Anita, rallying on the outside to pass 3-1 favorite Got Stormy and give Rosario his second victory of the day.
Uni and Got Stormy were the only two females in Saturday’s 13-horse field.
It was Brown’s second victory of the weekend as Uni, the 7-2 second choice, overtook Got Stormy at the eighth pole and scored her 10th victory in 18 starts.
