Brea leaders look at requiring permits, having rules for larger public assemblies
The City Council at its meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 19, will consider establishing regulations for public assemblies.
Among the regulations would be needing a permit if the gathering meets certain criteria, such as being larger than 30 people if in Brea Downtown or 75 people elsewhere; restricting sound amplification devices and requiring reimbursement for fire safety or traffic control expenses.
The council meets at 7 p.m.
