Bomb squad investigating explosion in Anaheim, no injuries reported

ANAHEIM - Bomb squad personnel are investigating an explosion Sunday afternoon in an alley in Anaheim, police said. No injuries were reported but some homes were briefly evacuated during the investigation. There were reports the explosion was a pipe bomb, but Wyatt could not confirm that. Wyatt said the explosion was in an alley near the area and there was some moderate damage to the outside of a nearby building.
