Bill Walton, Ralph Lawler share long, fun trip through Clippers history

LOS ANGELES — Bill Walton believes Ralph Lawler deserves a statue.
“Ralph needs to get a statue out front (of Staples Center) to go with Chick (Hearn) and Bob (Miller),” Walton said after he joined Lawler pregame for an unveiling of the “Thank you, Ralph” script along the sideline of the Clippers’ Staples Center court.
Walton, at Lawler’s request, joined his longtime friend and former broadcast partner on the broadcast Wednesday, as the Clippers wrapped
