Big Kurtis MacDermid trying to hone game for Kings

LOS ANGELES – Kurtis MacDermid split time between the Kings and their AHL affiliate in Ontario this past season. In his 34 games with the Kings, the 6-foot-5, 233-pound defenseman had a goal, three assists and a minus-4 ratio with 57 penalty minutes. He was also arguably the team’s meanest fighter.
