Best thing I ate: Little Saigon spring rolls in Corona del Mar

One of the absolute best things to eat in Little Saigon is the nem nuong cuon — crispy pork spring rolls — at Brodard. But you don’t have to go to Little Saigon to find them. You can go to Corona del Mar, to a restaurant called Bamboo Bistro, and get exactly the same thing. And when I say exactly, it’s because the kitchen here uses Brodard’s recipe. The chef/owner of Bamboo Bistro is the daughter of the chef/owner of Brodard.
