The Mille Crepes cake at Lady M boutique isn’t actually made onsite. It’s baked and assembled in an industrial commissary in Los Angeles and delivered to the Irvine boutique every morning, just like everything else in their jewelry-store-like display case. The owner, originally from Garden Grove, launched Lady M in New York on the Upper East Side and now has corporate commissaries delivering to a growing empire of stores in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and California.
