Summer might be over but corn is still having its moment at Raya in Dana Point. 
Raya is chef Richard Sandoval’s posh Latin-fusion restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. The corn in question comes in the form of a soup.
Fittingly for a luxury hotel dining room overlooking the ocean, service involves a minor spectacle whereby a waiter pours the soup into a bowl at your table.
