Best thing I ate: Extremely limited sashimi takeout from Hana re

March 17 feels like an eternity ago. 
That was the day when I reconfirmed my reservation and was looking forward to dining the following night at Hana re in Costa Mesa. Moments later came another text from the restaurant: “The city of Costa Mesa is calling for the closure of movie theaters, fitness club, and limiting restaurant to take out and delivery services only, effective tonight at midnight. Unfortunately we have to cancel your reservation for tomorrow.”
