Bat testing positive for rabies found in Anaheim, one person treated

A bat found in Anaheim tested positive for rabies, the Orange County Health Care Agency announced Wednesday, Sept. 18.
The live bat was found about 3:45 p.m on Friday, Sept. 13, outside a building at 1188 N. Euclid St.
One person had contact with the bat and has since received a preventative treatment for rabies, Joshua Jacobs, division manager of communicable disease control, said Wednesday.
