Basketball coach Brogdon leaving JSerra

Zach Brogdon resigned as varsity boys basketball head coach at JSerra to become the youth pastor at Stonehill Church in Meridian, Idaho.
Brogdon, 30, coached JSerra for two seasons. He previously was the coach at Capistrano Valley Christian.
He said via text message that he is retiring from coaching.
JSerra finished 18-9 overall and was fourth in the six-team Trinity League with a 5-5 league record. The Lions lost to Villa Park last week in the first round of the CIF-Southern Section Division 1
