AVP Tour set to kill it again with Hermosa Beach Open

When an event has been gone for years, it’s hard to tell how it will do when it returns. That question was answered a year ago when the AVP brought the Hermosa Beach Open back to the South Bay.
It was a huge hit, and it’s playing again this week. Qualifying action begins Thursday at the Hermosa Beach Pier and the main draw starts Friday. Action will continue Saturday, with championship matches being contested Sunday.
