Avinger sparks Los Alamitos past Huntington Beach

The sophomore shouted after hitting the floor, providing the final touch on the spark the Griffins needed Tuesday night.
Avinger’s basket with 2:27 left in the first half sparked a 13-0 run that sent No. 6 Los Alamitos to a 45-27 victory against visiting Huntington Beach in a Sunset League girls basketball game.
