Arts Preview 2019: Change may be brewing for Orange County’s cultural institutions

While Orange County’s arts landscape might seem calm on the surface, the 2019-2020 season may well be remembered in the future as the foreshock of change.
During the past year-plus, four of major arts organizations have welcomed a new generation of leadership. South Coast Repertory, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, Pacific Chorale and Soka Performing Arts Center have filled key administrative and programming positions, largely drawn from outside Orange County circles.
