Angels deal Brian Goodwin to Reds for two pitchers

The Angels traded Brian Goodwin to the Cincinnati Reds just before Monday’s deadline, picking up pitching prospect Packy Naughton and a player to be named.
Naughton, a 24-year-old lefty, was listed as the No. 14 prospect and sixth-best pitcher in the Reds system, by MLB Pipeline. Baseball America has him ranked No. 20 in the Reds’ system.
