Angels considering Trevor Cahill in the bullpen when he returns
ST. LOUIS — The Angels are considering the idea of bringing Trevor Cahill back to the majors as a reliever, a role in which he flourished with the Chicago Cubs a few years ago.
“He’s pitched 50-plus times out of the bullpen,” Manager Brad Ausmus said Saturday morning. “It gives us options. Our goal is to make our pitching better, so we’ll consider that as an option.”
