Anaheim to finish streetcar study

Despite overwhelming obstacles and opposition from outside agencies, a City Council majority last week voted to keep alive a vision for a streetcar rumbling 3.2 miles along Katella Avenue and Harbor Boulevard. Councilmembers Lucille Kring, Kris Murray and Jordan Brandman supported a wait-and-see approach for the $300 million Anaheim Rapid Connection streetcar that would link the city's newly built massive transportation hub near Angel Stadium to Disneyland and the Convention Center.
