Anaheim restaurant robbed, employee flees to storage room

ANAHEIM — A restaurant  employee sought safety in a storage room after the business was held up by a masked robber late Friday night, Nov. 17, authorities said.
The robbery occurred around 10:50 p.m. at the Mexi-Casa restaurant in the 1700 block of  West Lincoln Ave., said Anaheim police Sgt. Randy Sany.
The robber displayed a gun and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee, who was not injured, fled to a storage room and locked the door, Sany said.
