Anaheim Lowe's evacuated after suspicious package found in parking lot

Anaheim police were responding to a call about a possible pipe bomb in a Lowe's Home Improvement store parking lot Friday night, police said. About a possible pipe bomb in the 1500 block of North Lemon Street, said Anaheim police Det. Customers inside the store were first told to stay inside, but were later evacuated through a side exit. The Orange County Sheriff's bomb squad was assessing the package, and an Anaheim Fire hazmat crew was on standby at the scene. No other details were released.
