Amid the fireworks, Chris Taylor’s subtle play helps Dodgers hang on
LOS ANGELES — Sated by Clayton Kershaw’s mastery and Justin Turner’s electability, most Dodger Stadium fans barely noticed it Tuesday night when Arizona gave Chris Taylor a 90-foot ramp and Taylor took it.
It was the eighth inning. Kershaw’s no-hitter through six-and-a-third innings was gone. Turner had homered and driven in the first run with a single. Fireworks were imminent. The Dodgers were up 3-0 and all was copacetic.
