Americans evacuated from coronavirus zone in China arrive in Riverside County

The chartered jet carrying more than 200 Americans airlifted from Wuhan, China, where the coronavirus outbreak began, has landed at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County.
The flight made a brief stop in Anchorage, Alaska, for refueling before departing shortly after 2 a.m. The plane touched down at 8:11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, in Riverside County.
