Aliso Niguel’s Jaslene Massey enjoys the challenge and two wins at OC Championships

MISSION VIEJO — Aliso Niguel’s Jaslene Massey was an easy choice to be honored as the Girls Athlete of the Meet for field events at the Orange County Championships on Saturday at Mission Viejo High School.
The junior won her two events — shot put and discus — and again added her name to the all-time record lists for Orange County and the state.
Massey improved on her state-leading mark in the shot put with a distance of 50 feet, 7 inches.
