Alexander: The return of the full Todd Gurley propels Rams

LOS ANGELES — It must have been magic. Todd Gurley reappeared Sunday night.
Oh, he’s been available to the Rams all of those previous weeks, aside from the San Francisco game that was the Rams’ last Coliseum game before this. But he was seldom utilized in the way a highly-paid, highly-regarded running back should be.
Maybe Sean McVay learned his lesson a week ago, when Gurley was running effectively but was the forgotten man, literally, down the stretch of a loss to Pittsburgh.
