The type of year this was in Southern California sports probably depends on which team(s) you pull for. Hope, uncertainty for the future, despair that your (a) players, (b) coaches, (c) executives or (d) owners are going through the motions … yes, it all exists in SoCal, one more reason this is the most diverse, and sometimes fickle, market in North America.
Amid the daily grind, some stories stood out. It’s not necessarily a Top Ten, but merely my list of Ten That Mattered.
