Alexander: Has Clay Helton earned another chance at USC?

LOS ANGELES >> So what does USC do now, with its competing football priorities (i.e., win lots of games and stay out of trouble) and an insatiable booster/alumni base insistent on change?
Does athletic director Mike Bohn ignore recent results and ask Clay Helton for the office keys as early as Monday morning? Does he wait, and risk forfeiting precious recruiting time, to see if the Trojans can win nine games, maybe even a 10th should they sneak into the Pac-12 championship game?
Or does Bo
