Alarcon’s no-hitter secures league title for Rancho Alamitos

Nathan Alarcon pitched a no-hitter for Rancho Alamitos as the Vaqueros clinched the outright championship of the Garden Grove League with a 3-0 home win over Santiago.
Alarcon, a junior right-hander, struck out eight. He is 9-1 with a 0.68 ERA and 103 strikeouts in 72 innings.
Rancho Alamitos is 20-3 overall and 13-1 in the Garden Grove League.
