After Janus, let public employees make their own choices

Before the U.S. Supreme Court issued its recent opinion in Janus v. AFSCME, public employee unions helped to elect a lot of politicians who have taken good care of the unions at contract time.
But now that the 5-4 decision in Janus has stopped the mandatory deduction of “fair share” union fees from the paychecks of public employees who choose not to be union members, it’s possible that tens of thousands more public employees will choose not to be union members, and will stop pa
