Adrian Kempe scores winner as Kings top Devils in OT

While this time of year brings its share of critical games in the NHL, the Kings and New Jersey Devils were very much in the dog days of the regular season Saturday afternoon. That didn’t stop them from putting together an exciting finish as the Kings beat the Devils 2-1 in overtime at Staples Center after a slow 40 minutes gave way to a frenetic finale.
