A scolding, and a comeback, for Rory McIlroy at British Open

SOUTHPORT, England — Rory McIlroy didn’t need another scolding from his caddie or a reminder of what he had to do. By the time he arrived for his second round on a blustery day at Royal Birkdale, he had a good idea what this British Open is all about, and somewhat of an idea what he is all about.
