91 freeway accident causes severe congestion on westbound lanes for hours

No one was injured in a fiery two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Cerritos that involved a big-rig and a SUV, but it left the westbound 91 freeway shuttered and then heavily congested for hours.
It occurred at Bloomfield Avenue at 4:15 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.
Fluid spilled across the freeway, and westbound lanes were blocked and then congested for hours. But by early afternoon, traffic was again flowing.
