5 injured after 2 SUVs crash into Placentia thrift store

An elderly motorist lost control of her SUV and it crashed into a parked vehicle, pushing both SUVs into a thrift store in Placentia and injuring herself as well as four other people on Tuesday, Oct. 9, officials and witnesses said.
The 88-year-old woman behind the wheel of a white Chevrolet Suburban crashed into a silver Chevy Yukon parked in front of the Goodwill at 1101 E. Imperial Highway sometime before 4:12 p.m., according to Placentia Police Capt. Eric Point.
