405 freeway closing overnight in Costa Mesa next two Saturdays, if rains allow

Continuing work to widen the 405 freeway is expected to require overnight closures March 9 and March 16, on both sides of the Fairview Road bridge, weather permitting.
Caltrans plans to close the freeway in each direction from 11 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday both weekends. Rain has previously delayed the work and could again.
Fairview also will be closed from South Coast Drive and McCormack Lane for the work, which involves demolishing the east side of the bridge.
