4 hurt in 2-car crash in Costa Mesa

COSTA MESA — Four people were injured in a two-car crash in Costa Mesa on Tuesday.
The crash occurred about 3:35 p.m. at the Newport Boulevard frontage road at Baker Street, according to Roxi Fyad of the Costa Mesa Police Department.
A woman driving a Kia van eastbound broadsided a southbound Mercedes-Benz station wagon that had the green light, Fyad said.
Both drivers and two passengers in the Kia sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospitals, Fyad said.
