30 firefighters battle blaze at Placentia home

Thirty firefighters battled a fire at a home in Placentia early Sunday Oct. 29 that was complicated by a steel roof that had been installed over a shake shingle roof.
The occupants of the home in the 1900 block of Key Drive escaped but one or more cats died in the fire, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Stephen Horner.
