$2.3 million renovation to Placentia library is expected to take a year

The Placentia Library has started a $2.3 million renovation officials say will take it into the future and inspire residents.
Library hours are expected to remain the same during the makeover, which is set to be completed by September 2019 – in time for the library’s centennial. The library might close for a short period toward the end of the renovations, Library Director Jeanette Contreras said.
