$20,000 to help digitize old Anaheim newspapers

For decades, Opal Kissinger supported the preservation of Anaheim's history an effort she has continued even after her death. Kissinger, a former teacher, librarian and local history curator, left the Anaheim Public Library's Heritage Center $20,000 in her will, which will be used to start digitizing the library's extensive archive of newspapers.
