2 firefighters responding to fire in Long Beach high-rise are wounded by gunfire

Shortly before 4 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a reporter of an explosion in high-rise apartment in downtown Long Beach, with two getting struck by gunfire, a spokesman for the agency said.
